Samsari is a dance solo in which the acrobatic element of Cyr Wheel takes on different forms and immerses us in a dreamlike world.
“Flow together”, “to pass through different states”, “to wander”. Samsara is the cycle of birth, life, death and reincarnation or rebirth as a fundamental concept in all Indian religions and other ancient religions. The person bearing Samsara is called Samsari.
Cyr wheel is an acrobatic apparatus that consists of a single large ring made of metal. The Cyr wheel takes its name from Daniel Cyr, who revived its popularity, utilizing it as a circus apparatus in 2003. The interest of David Vento to work this discipline arose in summer 2012 in Canada. Since then he has developed a unique language with this element.
